Our shift pattern has been designed and implemented to ensure consistent teams for our young people whilst also providing staff with the ability to have the time and space they need to reflect, reset and arrive at each shift able to give their best. ***By applying for this position, you are confirming you can commit to the below shift pattern without restrictions.*** The shift pattern is as follows: * Days - 1 in, 2 off (7am-11pm, followed by 7am-11pm and sleep in) * Waking Nights - 4 in, 4 off **What we're looking for** We are looking for a **Support Worker** who is: * Qualified with NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care * Kind, compassionate, and patient, with a genuine passion for working with young people * Driven by the desire to help young people overcome adversity and thrive * Able to deliver individualised care that focuses on positive outcomes **Key responsibilities** * Building strong, positive relationships with the child, their family, and all professionals involved in their care * Offering dedicated support to children with disabilities and/or challenging behaviour, ensuring their needs are met * Maintaining detailed, accurate records and promptly reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties * Ensuring that best practice is consistently implemented across all areas of the care package * Supporting personal care routines, encouraging independence, and engaging the child in meaningful activities * Demonstrating a genuine commitment to improving the life and future of the young person **What we offer** * Ongoing Training \& Development to up-skill and enhance your career * The opportunity to progress within the organisation * Competitive pay rate of £15 per hour * A supportive team that is committed to exceptional care **Why join us?** At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to delivering results and creating positive, lasting change in the lives of young people.
