Our remit spans AI enablement, agentic systems development, and “conventional” ML engineering for non-GenAI applications like recommender systems. Our Data Analytics team is a busy group serving analytics requirements across multiple service lines at Interpath. \r\nWe will consider Data Analytics specialists with experience in various areas, in particular experience of Value Creation, Transaction Services, Forensic or Compliance would be relevant.\r\nThe successful applicant will bring fresh data solutions and ideas for the variety of client projects, covering the way the data is collected, stored, applied and presented. \r\nThis is an opportunity to join a fast-growing unit and to play a key role in its development and growth.\r\nKey Accountabilities:\r\n Deals Analytics support\r\n Building new data capabilities covering Customer profiling, segmentation & profitability; demand forecasting & inventory management; supply chain optimisation; (Procurement) spend analytics to compliment the mature working capital capability in place today.\r\n Create a Data Insight playbook covering the topics above.\r\n Accelerate delivery timelines through better solutions.\r\n Act as central point of contact for the team and create great working relationships.\r\n Show the “art of the possible” and be integral in the change management process.\r\n Help the team to extract information and provide insightful reports (using different techniques).\r\n Create meaningful dashboards to help inform/set strategy and predict trends (for clients).\r\n Work with the data team to determine the best data infrastructure to maximise analysis.\r\n Design a blue-print architecture of the tools and techniques to use for value creation and client facing projects.\r\n Lead the charge in building new data capabilities within the team.\r\n Accelerate delivery of key data projects through new ‘ways of thinking’.\r\n Requirements\r\n At least 4 years of experience in the Data Analytics space (preferably in a consulting context).\r\n University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent.\r\n End to end knowledge of data warehouse and reporting processes.\r\n Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a controlled manner.\r\n Have strong consulting skills, having applied business intelligence and data analytics techniques in that context. \r\n Be very hands-on, technically strong on data engineering, reporting and analysis.\r\n Be commercially savvy and articulate in ‘data’ story-telling to clients and hence a trusted adviser to key stakeholders.\r\n Numerate & analytical with knowledge of data management.\r\n Proficient in BI tools like PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.\r\n Proficient in Microsoft SQL.\r\n Proficient in Python / R.\r\n Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques (eg clustering).\r\n Passionate about data analytics. The AI & ML Engineering team accelerates the adoption of AI across the business, championing innovation while ensuring our machine learning products are robust, scalable, and cost-efficient. Our remit spans AI enablement, agentic systems development, and “conventional” ML engineering for non-GenAI applications like recommender systems. Partnering with stakeholders to scope problems and identify the right solution - whether leveraging existing AI tools or building custom workflows & solutions.
Designing and implementing agentic systems using techniques spanning RAG, grounding, prompt engineering, and orchestration on a GCP-first stack.
Building and maintaining production ML pipelines and services for non-GenAI use cases (e.g. recommender systems, customer segmentation models, marketing optimisation modules, leveraging supervised, unsupervised and/or econometric modelling approaches).
Developing APIs and microservices for AI/ML solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and observability.

The role requires a blend of technical depth and product sense, including
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong Python engineering skills (FastAPI, testing, typing) and experience with cloud-native development (GCP preferred).
Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI (model endpoints, pipelines, embeddings, vector search) or equivalent cloud-native ML platforms (e.g. AWS SageMaker, Azure ML) and agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
Solid understanding of MLOps - CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), experiment tracking, model registry, and monitoring.

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Crime Analyst (AML) to join our Financial Crime team. This role is part of the first line of defence, responsible for preventing, detecting, investigating, and analysing fraudulent or suspicious activity across all transactions and services.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse transactions to identify potential money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime risks.
Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious transactions or customer behaviour.
Review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and escalate to second line as required.
Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on both new and existing clients.
Record and report financial crime typologies (e.g., AML, fraud) in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
Identify trends or patterns in financial crime and propose process improvements to enhance the overall framework.
Day-to-Day Tasks
Investigate potentially fraudulent or suspicious transactions across all products.
Liaise directly with customers via phone where necessary to support investigations.
Produce reports and management information related to financial crime incidents.
Recommend optimisations to AML/fraud systems to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
Monitor chargebacks, identifying new patterns and flagging potential repeat fraud attempts.

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills:
Background in AML and fraud within e-commerce, banking, or financial services.

Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a controlled manner.
Have strong consulting skills, having applied business intelligence and data analytics techniques in that context.
